Could you set up an experiment to test Felix's theory that plants get taller without sunlight? How would you design this kind of experiment?

Yes, I belive that there is a way to test Felix's theory on plants growing without sunlight.
The way I would set up this experiment would be as follows:
   1. Take four tulip seeds, and plant them in four different ways - One in sunlight only in water, one in sunlight in soil, one in an area that is either dark or does not have sunlight in only water, and one in an area that is either dark or does not have sunlight at all in soil.
   2. Make a chart for a four week plan. Each week observe how the tulip is doing. Measure its height, and write down any other characteristics about it.
   3. Be sure to keep all plants watered. When your experiment is finished, look over all observations, and decide on your finally conclusion.

Hope this experiment works. Thanks Ashley Porter.
