Our second grade students believe that Monarchs move less in the winter
The butterflies' bodies might slow down like an animal's body when they go into hibernation. (Billy)
The butterflies don't look for food during the winter so they are less
There isn't any food for them to eat during the winter so they try not to use much energy. (Mackenzie)
