Hummingbirds and Monarchs are alike because both of them migrate. The hummingbirds and monarchs both can fly and they both drink nectar from flowers. They both go to Mexico but for the return trip they travel in different directions. They migrate at different times. Monarchs go in a group. Hummingbird genders migrate alone, first the male, then the female, then the babies.
