Field Notes from Eagleye Nye Hello Journey North As far as the eagles we are following, several remain in the Chesapeake Bay region (adults V98 and U25 and nestling P91). Y94 and Y96, the two nestlings (now immatures) that we outfitted with satellite transmitters in 2004, remain in the general vicinity of their respective natal areas; perhaps learning where “home” is! One of our hopes is that these solar-powered satellite radios will continue working for years to come. If all goes well we will be able to study these youngsters’ movements and breeding habits right up to nest establishment. Find P91 When will P04 Begin Migration?
