Breaching Baby
This gray whale calf showed most of its body with an impressive breach as it passes Post 11 with Mom. During breaching, the whale launches itself out of the water, making a huge splash as it falls back into the water. It's a thrill for anyone to see a breach from even a small whale. Why do you think gray whales breach?
