Angangueo

Angangueo is a small mountain town in Michoacan, Mexico. The two largest monarch sanctuaries - El Rosario and Sierra Chincua - are located in the surrounding mountains. Both sanctuaries are within an hour's drive of Angangueo, and Estela visits weekly and reports news during the overwintering season.
