Public's Help Needed in Reporting Wintering Monarchs
09 November - 16 November 2021
Dear fellow flock of birders,
How did you like the one inch of snow that fell last Saturday night? That was just nature’s way of easing us into winter. Stay tuned, there’s more of that white stuff to come! On my walk in the Arb this morning it was only 27 degrees but it didn’t feel that cold because there was no wind.

Queridos amigos,

Dear Western Monarch Friends,
02 November - 08 November 2021
Dear fellow flock of birders,
Some of the trees still have colorful foliage. However many are losing or have lost their leaves. The trees that are bare are wonderful for birders because we can really see the birds in leafless trees. There’s only one problem. Many of the migrants that pass through have already passed through so the advantage has been a bit late.
