Students at Nelson Rural School discovered tulips emerging in their Test Garden this week. How does spring 2017 compare to previous years' gardens? Take a look at their data below. 

"Our Grade 1, 2 and 3 classes went out on a snowy April morning. Brushing the snow aside in the garden, we saw more and more tulips emerging. We couldn't believe it, because when we left for the Easter Break, there was still snow over the garden. Now we are waiting for them to bloom!"
