Hi, I'm Sue Blakeman and I'm the Science Resource teacher for my Pre-K -5th grade elementary school. All students come to the science lab for 35 minutes a day, 5 days in a row, on a 7 rotation cycle. My 4th and 5th grade classes (6 of each) are also involved with a Wildlife Habitat Council Corporate Lands for Learning site at a local limerock mine. We will be studying seasonal changes here at school and at the Outdoor Nature Classroom at the mine.

My main goal is for the students to understand how the tilt of the earth in its revolution around the sun produces seasonal changes. My secondary goals are for them to know what more of those changes are here in FL and how those changes are like and different from changes where our partner is located.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
