Hi,

I teach middle school science (6th, 7th and 8th grade) in Lincolnville, Maine. I am looking for an independent project that my more able and efficient students can do while I help my special ed students with earth science concepts. (I would love to do this project with all my students, but I simply cannot fit it into my curriculum.) I will have the students involved with this project report out to the class periodically and hope that other students will make observations to assist with this project. I have all my students keep nature journals, so they will all be observing seasonal changes throughout the year. This project will give the primary students involved an important and interesting project to investigate while I bring other students up to speed with the regular curriculum. My 7th and 8th grade students all have laptops, so they can access the web independently to get information.

I would love to partner with any class.
