Symbolic Migration Lessons

Hola Amigos,
Our nature classes at JUBILEE! Community church loves monarch
butterflies! Last week we received symbolic butterflies and two that
were tagged on the Monarch's Migration Pathway from Saltillo, Coahuilla,
Mexico. One was from Mayra Elizabeth; one was from Berenice. We also had
an orange sheet from a student named Valerie at Vicente Juarez school.
If you would like to write to them, send us an email and we will send
their addresses to you so you can thank them for caring for your
colorful and artistic butterflies.
Although two live monarchs have been spotted in the Asheville, NC area
this spring, we haven't seen any yet. But our milkweed patch is up and
we are waiting and hoping to see monarchs this summer.
Our symbolic butterflies were from:

Robert Miller Elementary in Bismarck, North Dakota
Bath Middle School in Lima, Ohio
Aldrich Street School in Gowanda, New York
Tyler from Rochester, New York
Highland Intermediate School in Highland, NY
2 butterflies from Kinkaid Lower School in Houston, Texas
Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia
