    Dear Friends,
Our class received Symbolic Butterflies that were cared for this winter by
a Mexican student named Paola Denise Martinez Garcia of Anganqueo,
Michoacan. They wintered well and were sent back in a colorful bag of
confetti! Some were tagged with an orange tag by a tourist at El Rosario
    Monarch or Sierra Cincua Sanctuary.

Here are the schools where the butterflies we received came from:

    (1) Woodmont Middle School, Piedmont, SC
    (3) Katherine Curren Elementary, Hopkins, MN
    (1) Crozet Elementary School, Crozet, VA
    (2) Rensselaer Park Elementary School, Troy, NY
    (1) Wilson Vance Intermediate, Findlay, OH
    (1) Burning Tree Elementary School, Bethesda, MD
    (1) Very beautiful wax/melted crayon butterfly without a tag

Please let us know if you received any butterflies from Carl D. Mayes
Elementary School in MI. (We are located in the middle of the state, close
to Mount Pleasant) We have not seen any of ours posted yet and wonder
where ours flew home to. Thanks!

    Sincerely,
Mrs. Kjolhede's Class (K-6th grade resource room)
    Carl D. Mayes Elementary School
    Beal City Public Schools
    Mt.Pleasant, MI 48858
