Dear Monarch Friends,
Our class received Symbolic Monarchs that were lovingly cared for last
winter by the Mexican school children. They spent the winter in El
Rosario Monarch or Sierra Cincua Sanctuary, in Michoacan, Mexico. While
there, they were clustered with Monarchs from 7 different states and 1
Canadian province.
Listed below are the schools where the butterflies we received were sent
from on their journey.
Centennial Junior High School, Casper, Wyoming
Crestwood Elementary School, Richmond, Virginia
Trinity School, Midland, Texas
Memorial School, Pitman, New Jersey
Compton Elementary School, Powder Springs, Georgia
Gateway Environmental Study Center, Brooklyn, New York
St. George's School, Spokane, Washington
Kew Beach School, Ontario, Canada
We would be pleased to receive emails so we can hear from our other
Monarch buddies.
Sincerely,
Mt. Olive High School in Flanders, New Jersey
