    Dear friends,

We were very excited when a parcel of beautiful butterflies arrived here in Knowlton, Quebec, Canada.

Our cluster of butterflies was cared for during the winter by two Mexican students, Maria Isabel Ayala and Jaime Morales Servin. Gracias! These butterflies came from the following schools:

    Swift River Elementary, Belchertown, MA
    Harvey Green School, Fremont, CA
    Century Elementary School, Nixa, MO
    The Swain School, Allentown, PA
    Conant School, Acton, MA
    and seven from
    Greenfield Middle School, Greenfield, IN

We received one beautiful butterfly made by Felipe A. and prof. Hermiro J. A. from Saltillo, Coahuilla, Mexico, on the migration pathway.

We also received butterflies that were orange tagged at the sanctuaries:

    Willard High School, Willard, MO
Putnam Co. R-1 School, Unionville, MO
    Taylor Street School, Washington, NJ
    Brayton School, Summit, NJ
    Barratt Middle School, Philadelphia, PA
South Fayette Elementary School, McDonald, PA
    Harvey Green School, Fremont, CA
    Bristol Elementary School, Bristol, VT
    Diamond Elementary School, Gaithersburg, MD
    Bowie School, San Angelo, TX
Cinco Ranch High School, Katy, TX
Springfield Elementary School, Fort Mill, SC

Thank you to all you butterfly lovers and to the caring people at Journey North who helped to make this special project possible. We loved it!
