Dear Mrs Berger and class,

we are from Australia where it is always hot (or at least warm). In winter
our very cold days are about 13 degress celcius. We do not have snow and
the ground NEVER freezes.

We would like to know where the worms go when the weather gets really cold
and the ground gets frozen.
