Challenge Questions # 6

Julie A. Spalding (jaspal@wbl.whitebear.k12.mn.us)

Our second grade monarch watchers think that the monarchs know when to
leave when the temperature gets too high and they have a feeling/instinct
that it is time to go. If the monarchs leave too early they might die
because the weather is too cold. They could get caught in the snow. If
they leave too late they won't have enough time to lay their eggs and the
weather will be too hot for them to travel.
