Mrs. McGehee's third grade class came up with: 3,844 monarchs.
There was such a range in predictions that we took an "average" of
everyone's answer in our class for submitting. (We have 20 students and
numbers ranged from 3 to 15,000.) We also recorded each student's
individual prediction so they can check it out against the answer to be
posted.
