Mrs. Marsha Lodge, RHAM Middle School, Hebron, Ct
My Science class thinks the Mystery Classes are:

Homer, Alaska, United States of America 59.39 N 151.33 W
    McMurdo, Antarctica 77.850 S 166.700 E
    San Juan, Puerto Rico 18.28 N 66.06 W
    Lima, Peru 12.03 S 77.03 W
    Mangilao, Guam 13.44 N 144.80 E
    Thessaloniki, Greece 40.38 N 22.56 E
    Thame, Nepal 27.045 N 86.75 E
    Froya, Norway 63.42 N 8.45 E
    San Ignacio, Belize 17.15 N 89.45 W
    Kigoma, Tanzania 4.52 S 29.38 E

We had a lot of fun searching the globe (and the Internet and the library)
for these locations. The students really used many different skills and
sources. It was especially helpful at first for us to track our own coming
of spring to Connecticut by using sunrise and sunset data. That gave us some
perspective on the locations of the other classes. Did their graph look
like ours? How was it different from ours? This was our second year
participating and I think we learned a lot from last year's experience.
Thank you for providing us with such an interesting lesson. We also involved
parents and staff at our school who supported us in our searches.
