    1. The average caribou in this study has an average total length of 967cm. The total number of butterflies to span a caribou if lined up wing to wing is 96.7.

    2. If 19.34cm = one foot then an adult female Gray whale at 50 feet would be 1524cm.

    3. If an Adult Gray whale weighs 36 tons and an adult caribou cow weighs 82.4lbs. (we averaged the females in the study) the whale weighs 35.9988 tons more or 71917.6lbs more.

    4. If a monarch butterfly weighs about 0.5 grams it would take 1,648 butterflies to equal the weight of one caribou.
