The first reason of why the lagoons of Baja make such good nurseries for newborn whales is because lagoons are safe from predatory animals such as killer whales, providing safety for the newborn whales.
The second reason of why the lagoons of Baja make such god nurseries for newborn whales is because the lagoons have shallow water, meaning that it would be very safe for the newborn whales to swim in. Also because it decreases the chances for the newborn whales to drown.
