The Baja Lagoons are such good nurseries because they protect baby whales from any harm or predators. Baby whales get all of their nutrition there. Also, 3/4 of the lagoon is for whales only. Over 120 families of whales live there, so they can protect each other. Over all, these nurseries are very safe.
