Well, since one thousand kilograms equals one ton, i did 1000 times 40. I did this because i needed to convert the 40 ton whale into kilograms. Next I multiplied the answer to the last step, 40,000, with the 19 kilocalories to get the answer, 760,000 kilocalories burned per day, WOW!!!
