If we were in the field with Susan, we would use radio waves. These waves broadcast signals from the tagged manatees. We would listen to the differences between the radio-tags and GPS tags. We would use this method because the manatee has a radio reciever that is tuned to signals being transmitted from NAVSTAR sarellites.
