This has been an exciting way to help my students become more familiar with
latitude and longitude and to become more curious about the world. We had a
great time. What a great way to provide practical "real life" application
for math (figuring out the photoperiods, longitude , etc.) , science ( what
does the spring equinox mean, what happens as the photoperiods lengthen or
shorten) and geography (lots of opportunities to use atlases, learn to read
latitude and longitude, etc.). Thanks for an outstanding project.
