An eagle consumes at least 5 - 10% of its body weight. Males weigh 8 - 9 lbs and eats .8 - .9lbs. of food a day. The female weighs 10 - 14lbs and eats .1 - .1.4lbs of food a day. If one member weighs 90lbs. he would have to eat 4.5 - 9lbs of food a day.
Anothe member of our group weighs 81 lbs. If he was to eat the same as an eagle, he would have to eat 4.05 - 8.1lbs of food a day.
