    Hello,
We are the 2nd grade gifted education group from the 2nd grade class at Fairview Elementary School in Fairview, Tennessee. Our teacher is Ms. Goforth. We did not locate all ten classrooms, because our class time is very limited (one hour a week). Instead, we enjoyed researching about Mystery Class #5. We think Mystery Class #5 is located in the city of Chipata, in Eastern Province, Zambia, Africa. Chipata is located at:

13.63 degrees south and 32.64 degrees east.

    H. says, I learned that the equator is in the middle of the earth, cutting it in half. On the vernal equinox, the sun rises in exactly the east and sets exactly in the west. Thank you for the delightful clues. They were difficult, but I think we found you!

    R. says, I learned about how to use maps and other location helpers. I learned about the hemispheres. I learned about Africa, too. Your clues were challenging!
