The birds we chose to wear the satellite transmitters are #401, #402, #416 and #417.
We picked #401 because it is an excellent follower and does well when left alone. It
also is a loyal crane. We chose #402 because he is a good follower and is a crane that
wants to be in charge (a leader). Number 416 was picked because it is a good flyer
and a great bird. Even though he got hurt, he still followed the flock. We also picked
#417 because he flew 30 minute excursions with the ultalights. It also follows the plane well.
