To me after viewing the "critter's" footprints I have come to the conclusion that the critter is indeed a raccoon. If I had seen these tracks in my tulip garden I would indeed be worried for the simple fact that my bulbs could become eaten if the raccoon has not eaten in a while and is hungry.
