The HY2005 flock on the Florida wintering grounds, before departing on their first journey north, were
there for 98 days. ÝSince they began wintering on December 21, 2005 and left on March 28, 2006,
the answer is 98 days when calculated. By looking at and comparing migrations from 2001 to 2005,
we found that in 2001 it took 126 days, 121 days in 2002, 117 days in 2004, and 98 days in 2005.
The total is 569 divided by 5 = 114 days average.
