I think that the hummingbirds all stay together on the wintering grounds, eating and staying warm. In the spring, the hummingbirds want more space to live. Every spring I see at least 10 hummingbirds that nest in our greenhouses. I think that some of the hummingbirds come to Vermont to have more room, because only some of the hummingbirds come to Vermont. They need more space to have their families. Rachel M.
