Challenge question # 4

From: by way of Journey North <ileanadlt@sbcglobal.net>
Date: Fri Mar 10 2006 - 15:33:17 EST

Our class is very sure about this answer.

We believe that all the lines graphing the photoperiods of the mystery classes and our own will meet on March 20, the date of the Vernal Equinox. This means that everywhere in the world, Northern or Southern Hemisphere, daylight will last about the same time, which we think is about twelve hours. We think this is because the equator will be forming a perpendicular line with the surface of the sun.
