Turn, Turn, Turn
This Whooping crane is turning the egg in the nest with her bill. Then she or her mate will settle on the egg to incubate, or keep it warm, until it is time to hatch. Birds turn their eggs often so all parts are evenly warmed and no parts stick to the shell.
