Nab a Crab!
Just learning to hunt for itself, this young crane caught the most important food in a whooper's winter diet: a blue crab. One Whooping crane will eat up to 80 blue crabs a day when hunting is good. What else do cranes need on their wintering grounds? You'll find out in this week's report!
