Hey! I Can't See!
It's banding day for the Class of 2011 but the young cranes don't get to watch. A hood covers their eyes so experts can work without masks or gloves. (These young birds were led south by ultralight airplanes as "foster parents." They have never seen or heard humans.) A drop of glue is the last step in attaching the new leg bands. What else do you notice?
