At sunrise on May 15, young #3 and #4-14 were uncrated and set free on their familiar training grounds at White River Marsh, Wisconsin after their capture and all-night drive northward in an air conditioned van. It was a sweet end to a most unusual migration! How will they fare come fall migration on a route they've still never flown entirely on their own? Cranes #3-14 and #4-14 take flight just after their May 15 relocation to Wisconsin.
