Keep Feeders Fresh
Tedd in Plum Borough, PA noticed sugar water clouding up every few days.  Fresh nectar in your feeders prevents the food from fermenting and ending up moldy. Nectar needs to be changed as soon as it starts to turn cloudy. This can be as often as every 1-3 days in hot weather, which promotes fermentation. Any syrup solution will spoil eventually, no matter the temperature, so keep a close eye on all your feeders.

“I change sugar water feeders every three days because of the heat."
