Along the migration trail, observers continue to report male departures. There are clear signs that the females and juveniles, steadily nectaring at flowers and feeders, are getting ready to leave soon. They will need to double their weight to gain enough fat for fueling their fall migration.
"We still have 5 hummers coming to feed all day long. We notice that they are putting on some weight. I hope they stay for a while longer."
