Increasing Near Coast
Hummers are starting to stack up near the southern coastlines to gorge, feast and fatten before the final push of their migration. This week Texas tallied twice as many hummingbirds as second-place Illinois—and almost three times as many as first-place Ontario!

"We had about 100 hummers stop at our 10 feeders just long enough to drink them dry—and off they went. We are still feeding about 30 birds."
