Hummingbird Map Questions

The rufous migration is shaped like an oval. It is said to follow a "floral highway" of blooming wildflowers. Spring migration from Mexico goes up the warmer Pacific coast in the spring. (Some birds go up into Canada and Alaska.) After breeding, most birds go into the Cascade mountains and then migrate south down the spine of the Rockies.

Study a wall map that shows land forms, and then look at today's map. Use the maps and this description to help you draw an outline of this oval-shaped migration route.
