So Tiny
After a long winter with no hummers at the feeder, a first sighting often amazes. "A very tiny little bird came to one of the hummingbird feeders at about 8 am this morning. At first I almost thought it was a bumble bee but no, it was a tiny hummingbird," reports Charlotte from Ripon, Wisconsin this week. Robert Zickus captured this little female in Illinois this week, "This was our earliest sighting; beating last year's date of May 1 by two days." 04/29/13
