Neotropicals
Just like the hummingbird's return, when the oriole returns to your backyard this spring, it will have just completed a remarkable round trip journey to Central America and back! These migrating birds are called neotropical migrants. An amazing 333 bird species are neotropical migrants. Help us understand our changing climate by reporting the first oriole you see in the spring. Also report "leaf-out" of your trees.
