Flying Jewels
Anna's hummingbirds are among the most common hummingbirds found along the Pacific Coast. With such beautiful emerald green backs and rose-pink gorgets they look like flying jewels.

"Our Anna's hummingbirds have once again survived a cold spell––with lows in the teens and highs in the twenties––and they are now being rejoined by females (who fled from the cold to who knows where)." Bellingham, Washington 02/11/14
