Lucifer
The tiny, beautiful male Lucifer hummingbird with his vividly purple throat is a sight to see. Each fall they migrate to central Mexico for the winter season. From March to September they can be found in the extreme southern parts of Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. The Lucifer is a highly sought-after species among avid birders.

"Saw both male and female Lucifer hummingbirds today."
