Two Weeks Early
Hummingbirds don't usually arrive in Minnesota until the first week in May, so when 5-year old Meara spotted a male ruby-throat at the family feeder everyone took note. The April 21st sighting is more than 2 weeks earlier than average.

"We homeschool, and today our daughter was watching the hummingbird feeder and she spotted our first ruby-throated hummingbird. A male!"
