Keeping feeder food available for hummingbirds in the winter often requires a great deal of planning. In temperatures below freezing hummingbirds are often out of luck. Not a problem anymore at Tracey's feeders in Wenatchee, Washington, thanks to an inventor in Oregon. A simple nightlight bulb attached to the bottom of a feeder produces enough heat to keep nectar liquid even on the coldest nights.
