| Courtship Shuttle One of the ways a male shows off for females is with a shuttle display. This is an intricately choreographed dance, where the male flies back and forth in front of a perched female. If his dance appears energetic enough, she will signal her interest by holding her body erect and pointing her bill directly at him following his back and forth movement.
