Spring Nectar Hummingbirds continue to arrive along the southern coast after traveling the long journey across the Gulf of Mexico. Fortunately when they arrive in late spring there are flowering plants to help them refuel. One such flowering tree is the red buckeye, Aesculas pavia, a native in the southern US. Seeing flowers blooming in your area? Report to the nectaring map.
