Costa's Hummingbird
Costa's are considered desert hummingbirds. They're found in desert and semi-desert, arid brushy foothills and chaparral. In winter they can be found in mountainous regions of California and Arizona.

"Still waiting for the Black-chinned hummingbirds to arrive (probably another week at the earliest) here in Ivins, Utah, but in the meantime we are enjoying the antics of our "resident" male Costa's." 03/10/16
