Heavy snow accumulated in the Colorado Rockies and down into New Mexico early this week. This Black-chinned hummingbird continued to fuel up throughout the storm.
"It was a big surprise when I woke up and saw at least 6 inches of heavy snow on my deck. I was amazed to see two hummingbirds chasing each other. One came several times to the feeder, which is covered with snow with only the perch visible," shared Selvi in Los Alamos, New Mexico on April 18th.
