Symbolic Migration Lessons

Dear Friends,

Our class received beautiful symbolic butterflies that were cared for by Rodrigo Torres Dibildox of Mexico this winter. Here are some of the schools where the butterflies we received came from:

Summit Drive Elementary in South Carolina
Judd Elementary School in North Brunswick, New Jersey
Longfellow Elementary in Eau Claire, Wisconsin
The Montgomery Academy in Montgomery, Alabama
New Franklin School District in New Franklin, MO
Hunters Wood in Reston, Virginia
Egyptian School in Tamms, Illinois
Lakefield Elementary in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, Canada
Greenfield Middle School in Greenfield, Indiana

We also received four green tagged butterflies that were made by students who live in Saltillo, Mexico on the migration pathway.

We are enjoying finding the location of these schools on our map.

We had snow last week in western Massachusetts so we are looking forward to warmer temperatures and the arrival of the living monarchs.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Robbins's first grade class
Craneville School Dalton, MA
